Thread: Master Shipwright = No more looted items???

Hey guys! I just got Master Shipwright this week! However, ever since I got it, I don't ever get loot items from ships I destroy in space. Do you not get loot items when your MSW??? Or is there something else I need to fix with my ship? Thanks!

Two things, coming from a master shipwright and many mastered pilot..(flying everyday since JTL launch)
1.) If you are really really new, you might have a full inventory, which would prevent you from looting anything else, (just covering the bases here)....
2.) Since the last few server shutodwns, publish and hotfix hotfixes, loot has REALLY slowed down. Some of my favorite fishing spots dropped loot at a 25% rate, they are now 10% at best...and the 10% spots form before...well, I have not the patience to fish it long enough to actually find out HOW low the rates are.
Good news, during this 'flux' the spots that WERE dropping the RCT-Z and Vortex super reactors that were nerfed for the longest time, started dropping pre-nerf level reactors! (YAY!), but they turned them COMPLETELY off last week sometime...I have not seen one drop in a week or so. (FYI The RCT-Z is L8 and could range from 19-47k energy output, and the Vortex L7 with 18-32k energy output-nerfed they drop at 0-3k) Hopefully, they will get this fixed and allow us to have some really great reactors again.
Find some good loot spots and grab the 10% drop rate until they fix it. Other than that, great time to work on FSXP.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it's been really wierd. I used to go out especially in Tattooine space and get a looted item from about every 2 or three ships. I've killed about 20 and gotten nothing, inventory with plenty of room. I guess I'll keep trying. If I kill 100 ships with no loot, I'll get back with ya...lol.

Just wanted to let you know that it is working again, I am picking up looted items on upper level ships, but still nothing on the Tier 1's in Tattooine space (which really stinks because that was a FANTASTIC place to do some component harvesting for lower levels). Oh well... Thanks again!

I'd find it easier to reach a consensus on the meaning of life than figure out the loot tables. Sure you may be getting loot, but I'll bet it's mostly crappy boosters and armor.
