added in second edit:

i got YET ANOTHER number 4. thats my fifth number 4! smells fishy to me. thgouh i finaly got a 3:1 trade so i can get what i am missing. /sigh

i am actually gettign upset a bit about the disk situation. (added in edit two more i got tonight /insane laugh - another 7 and another 2)

I have atm: 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 6, 7, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8

YES, thats 5number 4's. Random? i have a feeling the devs are gating the disk drops. a hunch.why? On Ahazii knowtwo other SW's that ONLY NEED DISK#5. and they tooALSO have spare number 4 and 8.

I know this is an intolarably stupid thread to start and eveyone will say, "no its random" and "just wait you WILL get it" but i am gettig sick of RE'ing. All i want is one damn schematic, and by the number of disks i HAVE i should be close to TWO!! I want to concentrate on RE'ing high lvl stuff and making nice components. I put in my time, and my RE's and I (uh oh here it comes) DESERVE it

I know the devs will never let it be 8 generic disks, but how about give the chassis dealer an option to exchange disks? Or even make him make YOU trade 2 for 1!! PLEASE

I have had a trade thread on the ahazitrade forums for about 3 weeks allready, so plz dont advice me to try and trade them with players hehe.

Really, I dont understand why the bloody thing isnt just a Master SW schematic. I mean, its not like just any Joe Schmoe is actually going to put in the time to attain Master Pilot, so no matter what there wont be a billion of them in space. And as far as I can tell Freelancers are the ONLY pilot tree that doesnt have access to a "normal" SW made single seater at Master.

Dont think either the Tie Oppressor nor B-Wing take a crazy RIS like schematic to make, nor cost Millions of credits to buy... go figure.

btw everybody, i personaly think, that the chance at getting a disk is NOT per RE, rather it IS a function of how many components you RE.

I might be spouting stupidity here, but my drop rate is not bad at all. i have re'd to date about 1100 seperate RE's. and got 15 disks. thatsunder 1:80 drop rate.

a large % of them are lvl 4 and up, i distincly remmeber many of my disks falling from higher lvl re's.

/shrug dont know if this matters

So far I've gotten 20 fragment drops, and I don't believe any of them have ever been on an RE with more than 3 parts. Mostly this is because I get huge numbers of lower level parts, but it just seems a waste of time to try to match up 6 capacitors here, and 5 weapons there. Level 1 parts drop fragments just like any others and take alot less work to deal with.

Absolutely, Level 1 loot seems they way to go for me. Every single one of my disks have come from low level loot.
