This is from a Pilot who has been trying to have custom named RE parts made, only to have them rejected by the filter. It's simple.
Could we have a list of which words the filter will block, so we know not to try to use them?

I'd love to have a complete list of reserved names too. I searched around in this forum and came up with this post from awhile back.

I can inserteverything I wantby using "-" instead of the Spacebar. You get through with Re-Naming, if you remember to never ever use Numbers. A single 4 can ruin it all. Use IV instead.
I do not know, if that "-" is needed, but my customers are used to it by now.

Personally, I'd perfer if the name was rejected to get a little window:
"Name has been rejected by filter (or whatever that line is), please select:
1. Use Default Name.
2. Attempt to name again."

Any of those are good options. I'm just annoyed I can't have a booster named "SLAM System"

The word filters in SWG are just messed up.
The tag of my guild is DOH, a friend of mine got incapped, docked factionand fined for say "DOH" in front of a storm trooper... and that's all he said.

You can't use Arabic numerals or the names of manufacturers already in game--MandalMotors, ArMek, etc. I know there's more, but those are the two categorical restrictions I know of.
If you want to give a special name to a part, a good way to insure you get it is to RE a level 1 part and test the name on it first. If the name goes through, awesome. If it doesn't, get another level 1 part, change the name, and try it again until you find something that works.
