Thread: Workaround for publish 20 experimentation bug
Sosince I can not Alt-Tab my MSW/MA/musician is TOTALY USELESS.
This is crazy they have borked my entire template this round !
I left Ultima Online after 6 years to what I was told and thought was a game with a tighter community and CSR' / Devs that actualy cared about the game and its players.
Someone tell me why I should continue to give SOE any more of my buisness when they can basicly screw an account totaly like this?
This is more of a interface not refreshing bug. Basically it applies the experimentation as it should but it doesn't update all the time, It did for me on a few occations.
So if you know where to use your points just do that & then when you click next to "Name" the prototype, it'll refresh & update it there, Not sure what would happen if you hit Enter thenEnter againfast after experiment is done & use the default name, Not willing to find out & waste my valueable resources.

If you wait 30 seconds, it should update without having to tab out of anything. I've not had any word on a resolution yet, but believe it , around 30 seconds after you experiment the first time it updates.
That seems to be give and take with alot of people. It's entirely a UI refresh problem but it applies to alot more than just crafting, sea's etc are effected by this too and some people don't get updates on that untill travel or crossing a server boundry.
For the lower end systems alt tabbing is a chore, for others keep your load down (close inventory, work in an uncluttered area) and load times are reduced.
For example though, on my work machine (half gig ram) outside with a droid after 30 seconds I had no update, I was talking with a few people while testing this. Might have been the graphics load in the center of my city attributing to it. Definately faulty code client side though.

Hopefully we've provided enough input on this issue for them to find the problem.

Armor layers have been bugged much in the same manner from as far back as publish 18...I really hope this is the info they need to lock it down![]()
