Then maybe the devs might fix the quest.
Officially still busted as of Publish 20... not that I'm surprised.

nah, if you move the cert to mbh they would probably nerf the y-8's ability to mine even more, or maybe restrict it si that it cant use all its engines or equipment in some space zones. Trust me, the kind of attention the devs give the bh prof is the kind that you dont want.
This is ridiculous tho, i want my y-8 so i can hve another party barge, im just not getting the party barge feel from my yt-1300

You need a Sorsuub 3000 Luxury Craft for the Party Barge feel.
The Y-8 has more of a "Dark Warlord" feel, with its deep shades of grey, large imposing "Sun Crusher" reminiscient design, large open windows looking out into space, the centrally located "Commander's Chair". It's just something that a dark minded warlord or Mad Scientist might move through space in.
Heck, all it needs are dark robed figures with shiny featureless faceplates manning the controls, a mean looking red colored floating droid and a madman with a 'Russian' acccent, thick black hair and a short beard, then it would work perfectly floating out in Kessel over one of the Black Holes...

I logged in just to congratulate you on a wonderful and obscure movie reference to Disny's "The Black Hole".

I was so hoping that someone would have gotten that.
I named my Y-8 "Cygnus" in reference to that movie.
Interesting story/movie, unfortunately bad special effects. (I have it on DVD)

Can the droids sound like Slim Pickens?

Only one, old damaged one could sound like Slim, another droid could talk like a slightly nasaly elitist, the rest won't talk. They will just look menacing...

"The Black Hole".
Nice reference, and nice laughs thanks!
By the way, do you think those computer operators where manning the ship using afk macros?

Nah, they were more like the Chinese"Gold Miners" that I have read about happening in some other MMORPG. I think it was WoW or maybe even EQ/EQ2. I wouldn't know for sure, those games don't "speak" to me in a way that makes me want to give them a try.
