I just got my A-wing bluerpints today pay around 250k credits for it then I went to the chassis dealer and I was stun by the price 75k credits to turn a blueprint into a chassis.

My question is if shipwrights put all the resources to make the blueprint why I'm getting over charge to just turn a item into a another item named a deed, I prefer just to go to a shipwright and get the deed there instead of getting a blue print and gowaste morecredits to flip the item into another one.

I think shipwrights should sell the ship deed and just remove the whole blueprint, so what you think?

This was discussed a lot in beta and the devs said they weren't going to change it at the time. The general impression was that, once you get a ship, you never really need to use the shuttle system again for planet to planet travel. Which means that really lessens the value of a much needed money drain for the live economy. And, by having the ship buyer pay, it removes the burden of paying the money sink off of Shipwrights who already are spending a lot of credits between resource purchases and harvesting.

No one ever likes to pay or likes money sinks. But they are pretty needed. And, by having that one time cost, the devs can make up for a lot of money lost off shuttle travel costs. The best way to look at it is that in less than a month, by not having to use shuttles to travel from planet to planet again, you'll end up breaking even on the cost. I wish it didn't have to be there as it seems like a step that just complicates the system. But, I can understand why it is there too.

I can tell u that me as a Master Shipwright I charge 480k for an A-wing on Kauri, and thats just to cover resource costs. If the person you are buying from has any high master ships you better buy it now as well, b/c he/she will be the one losing in the long run. I know that master ships require 150k in resources, and are selling for 1-1.5 million on kauri. I personally have yet to make one so unsure what my price will be but you can bet its around those figures as well!

As far as the purpose of this thread to start with I think it is a great deal to have to pay twice not only as a money sink and shuttle money attribute, but you also have to look at this tsand point NOONE and I mean NOONE is bending your arm saying you must buy a new ship. I know most will for mass which is the point, but think if you were a real life pilot you would spend money to learn to fly buying the deed, and getting plane built buying the blue print to travel where ever and whenever you choose except player cities.

Player Cities I hope never have shuttleports for ships to land b/c then mayors will lose the 100 credits that people pay to fly in and out of their place. I am not a mayor so I care less on money but looking at their point of view the 100 dollars helps pay for the city. If they do allow this I feel it should be a higher price than using a shuttle to encourage people to actually use the shiuttle still.
