first, i'm not a shipwright but i really like fast ships

i can hold cert lvl 7 stuff and if u can make an engine over 104 top speed i might buy it (if i can find it). Other than me wanting a super fast engine, i was just curious on how fast u guys can make ur engines now.

with the new update on speed for engines, i assume most shipwrights can break 100 on lvl7's pretty easily. I think i hit 101 today, and I know some of my resources aren't the best. As for level 9, you're looking at 116+, I've heard of higher already too.

I made a 118.7 top speed Mark V with the new changes. I was making 104.7 before that. The Y/P/R went up on the one I made today from around 52 to about 62.

Maxing the speed out still left me with 5-6 points left over. I only make master level stuff for myself so I haven't tried anything lower.

Yesterday I crafted a Mark IV Starfighter Engine (lvl 7) for a guildie's X-wing. Speed was 101, PYR was 60.7 on all 3 stats (3 experimentation points on each PYR, 6 to top speed), used a Mark IV Engine Overdriver.

Ooooh nice!

How did you experiment the engine overdriver?

I wonder how good a mark IV will come out with5 points into pitch,5 points into yaw and 5 points into speed... I guess I need to get my shipwright GF to make me some engines when the server is up.

9 points in top speed up to its max and the remaining 6 in drain

Made Mark IV with 95 speed and 61.1 YPR

but the capacitor was 38.9 recharge with just over 600 storage

Hope they fix cap's

I hit 119.5 with a Mark V, but I'm more intrested in how high people can max Yaw and Pitch, I personally dont think roll is as importantas those 2.
