I have not tried making a new shipwright crafting tool. it did no good and I found that I can't experiment on those either. The bug I have seems to be more then just shipwright. Thanks for the help.

Hmm, if you standing in your house next to a starship station with a starship tool, and get nothing... yeah, you're bugged. Submit a /bug, and make sure you include your server and the coords of the crafting station.

I respeced into shipwright. almost master lvl. I can't create any chassis or advanced compontents that require a crafting station even though I am standing at a crafting station.

If the crafting station is a public crafting station, then you will not be able to see everything that you can make. You need a private crafting station to see everything that you can make (or a droid that you own thatcontains a starship crafting module).

you can use your datapad to see all you can make. Just hit the schematic button and it will show you every single one that you have learned. No tool requiredand it will show all the info you need before you craft.

I know I have the schematics, thats not the problem.
The crafting station i have is a personal one. I can't even experiment with the items that I am able to make with it.

Silly question, but are you sure you're using a shipwright crafting tool?

If there is other crafting stations near try getting closer to the Starship one.
I think the game detects the closer crafting station and tries to use it; if it's not the type you need you may experience the problems you're having.

There is also another bug that is associated with crafting stations to close to each other. I keep my stations in seperate rooms. There is a odd range bug with stations. to close to each other, the wrong one will take over and you can't experiment. Had that bug and it drove me nuts for weeks till i figured it out.
