Thread: Sugestions regarding the Y-8 Mining ship

Id like to see the Y-8 Altered to make it a worth while ship.
As of yet, I cannot get the ship to mine as fast as say a TIE Advanced with a single MKII Mining Laser and a Tractor Beam. If anyone knows of something I might be doing wrong, then please post what your doing here.
Id also like to see the ship have a docking capability so that the mining ship can act as a resource carrier similar to what you see in Homeworld. Your buddies in smaller fighter/miners can dock and offload resources on you to save the trip of having to go all the way back to a starport to unload. Either that or alow the Tractor Beam to offload resources similar to the mission given during the Y-8 Quest.
