Heya. I just respeced to shipwright. Got a few questions
1) Can we mine resources in space? If so, how do we do t.
2) How do I RE parts?

1. Yes, do the mining quest to get some free mining parts. shoot asteroid, shoot asteroid chunk, shoot little asteroid chunks.
2. Make a component analysis tool. drop parts of same RE level in tool the right click tool and chose analyze components.

There's good info on reverse engineering (and a ton of other stuff) in the sticky at the very top.
