Looking for a ship buying guide. I bought bprints of a tie-fighter. Turned it into a deed. What do I need now?? I know I have to go buy components but do the components require certifications? What components do I need. I have no skill boxes yet except for imp tech I.

Thanks!

1) Pilot FAQ in the Pilot forum

2) Read your skill boxes

You need the same components in your new ship as you had in your starter ship. Each component has a level associated with it, as you go up the Pilot profession, you are certified to use better and better equipment and ships.

Examine each component before you buy it and compare it to what your skill boxes say you can use.

2nd star on the left and on till happy hour!

goto a ship terminal, usually in the first room of any starport.

you should be able to see the ship and choose it,

you will need to manage the items onto it, otherwise its a nice paperweight.

need a reactor, and engine at the BARE minimum.

guns, armor, missiles, shields are all extras
