do u need jump to lightspeed to be a shipwright? i was gonna raise it on my crafter/merchant who i never do combat with but i dont want to have to buy jump to lightspeed just to be able to craft the stuff

If you like crafting, it JTL is worth it. My crafter has absolutly no ground combat skills, but with JTL I was able to at least do pilot, which I find to be a lot more fun than ground combat.
I would strongly suggest getting JTL.... personally, I'm still trying to convince myself to get ROTW because JTL seem to take care of all my needs.
