Would this be the circa-December lack of RE values effecting drain?

Because I've oft wondered if the "breaking" of drain has been our "price" for having WO3 bugged for so long. My way suggests legions of people taking drain for granted until one day a fix smacks their 21xx-24xx L8s for a loop.
