I looted a lvl 8 reactor the other day that has a 24 k mass and a 38k recharge rate. I'm not a shipwright but from what i've seen for sale on vendors this seems rather uber. Anyone seen any or many of these floating around? Dont remeber what i looted it from.

can't remember the name of these reactors, but they are a loot drop and usually have these kinds of stats. Similarly, there is a lvl 7 reactor called a slayn & korpil mark 3 that almost always has a very high gen rate. Both can be found usually on occasion when killing in kessel or deepspace, and maybe elsewhere too.

aye should fetch a pretty penny on trade forums board....

the other day...while i was half asleep I REd a lvl 7 reactor....had 24k energy or somethin...dind't even realize it till i went to sort out parts for dealer / vendor =( Iknew I had one its a 39k gen not REd yet...but dind't realize I had this one =/

The two reactors are the KSE RCT-Z and the Slayn and Korpil "Vortex" Mk3s for L8 and L7, respectively.

Don't RE RCT-Zs until you get an L8 reactor under 24k mass, and don't RE a high Vortex Mk3 until you get an L7 at or under 14k.
