You know everyone says that they will die out over time. The ones that are going to die out are the one's not doing the lowballing. It is just like the skill tapes on the trade forums. It is the people that are so rich they have no idea what to do with thier cash. They buy any skill tape they see so no other person can get as good as they were. I watched someone drop 10 million credits and I said that was a bit much. He then told me it wasjust a drop in his bucket and with his other businesses and other accounts it was nothing.
Lowballing will be going on for a while longer not as the cheap people drop off as they are the ones that are rich already. But as the people who are just starting out and are not able to keep up or afford stuff drop off. I have 2-0-0-2 and not for wanting to go slow but because I have a couple of people helping me but I just can not afford to buy any resources when they do show up. Am I going to give up, no way. I am just going to pick armorsmith again, hong onto the boxes I have, wait for the lowballing is done and go back.
I just want people to stop blaming the little guy for doing the lowballing. It is not the little guy it is the rich and powerful being able to take over a market by slaxhing prices only to hike them up when all the small times are out of thier way. *Think Wal-Mart*

actually it's the little guy that I always seeing that does the lowballing, becasue they feel that they can't compete with the big guy, they have no choice but to sell cheaply in order to just ba able to sell. Now yes I see some instences of the larger guys doing this... but those seem to be pretty rare since they didn't get rich by selling cheaply, that produces lower profit margins. And you don't get rich very fast with that. I was an architect for 5 months and in the 2 weeks I've been SW I've made twice as much money as I ever did as Architect.... and that's becasue the SW markup is higher than the architect mark-up

Hey man, don't take this the wrong way.. but you really have no idea what you are talking about. Skill tapes require no monetary input. RESOURCES those shipwrights need to produce their products do. If they're selling for less than resources cost, obviously they won't be able to afford more. We're already seeing it.

I've seen a few lowballers on my server drop off the map entirely. I'm not going to name any names, but I totally saw this coming.
