Thread: How do you handle the confusing component names for customers?

Here's the example, Joe Pilot is level 1-1-1-1with equipment level 3. Hehas been using Mark II Proton missiles (which are level 3) and wants to try something else.
So he sees a Mark II Concussion launcher on the vendor, buys it and a bunch of missiles. Goes back to the starport, tries to load them, and "You are not certified".
"???" He checks the launcher and dang if it isn't equipment level 5!
My question is, do you guys name your components by equipment level or leave the default name?
I am leaning towards renaming things by level.
So instead of seeing this on the vendor:
Mark II Proton Launcher (really level 3 cert)
Mark II Concussion Launcher (really level 5 cert)
The customers would see:
LevelIII Proton Launcher
Level V Concussion Launcher
For some reason the name filter will not let me name them with numerals like "Level 3 Proton Launcher" 
Of course, if I name the launcher "Level III Proton Launcher" then I have to make sure and name my missiles "Level III Proton Missiles". AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
Who's BRILLIANT idea was this naming scheme???

That's why you always check before you buy. I guarantee he won't that mistake again.
Personally, I don't name my stuff any different, unless it was built with an optional component so they know what to look for.
But if he contacted me, I'd be happy to refund his money as long as the product was exactly how he purchased it.
I'm not above dealing with a customer face to face unlike some of the more elitist crafters who feel that any time they spend with a customer is money lost.
