All-
Well, I received the 8th and final piece of the schematic this weekend, holding off on combining schematic and creating the blueprints until after tuesday's patch.
Anyone that has crafted a Firespray, any tips? Anything I should be looking out for? I have yet to craft a master level ship, so I have no clue as to the requirements. I thought I saw where master level ships require a couple more resources (copper?).
Second, what is the going price? Anyone sell one on Scylla? Looks like I will auction one off, give one to my major contributor guildmate (gave me loads of steel and resources!), and I have no clue what I will do with the third. I will probably hold a drawing to award the ship to all my interested guildmates, as they gave me most of the parts that I RE'd to get the shcematic! So I will craft a lot of 20 sided dice, and see who comes out on top of the roll!

The Firespray has the same resource requirements as the other Master level ships.
The best auction price I've seen has been 16 million, but I haven't been paying a lot of attention to that recently.

Nothing more to look out for, than with any other ship. Because of it's unqiue nature, you should keep to the better resources though, if you hadn't already been doing that with your other hulls. That'll help you squeek some additional mass out of the hulls that you otherwise wouldn't get.
As to sellinng price. That's anyone's guess. I sold two on Bria the other day, and gave one to a friend. Sold one for 15 mil, the second for 7.5. Just depends on how badly someone wants one.

My understanding is that you can have anywhere from 3 to at least 5 builds of a Firespray from the schematic. Out of that, you might end up with a critical failure or some other issue related to attempting to build the final blueprint.
I wouldn't promise any of the ships to anyone just yet. There is also nothing wrong with keeping one to yourself, you never know if that is something you may want to tool around in someday.
I would listen to the other posters about resources you end up using to craft this very rare starship chassis. Even if it takes several weeks of resource shifts, I would hold out as long as possible to obtain the best possible resources to have the highest potential output for the experimentable stats on this starship. Doing so may net you just so much more credits for it.
Of course, you would want to balance that with the upcoming 'Solo Group Nerf', the mountains of credits raining into the economy is going to start dropping considerably pretty soon...

You can make & learn the schematic now with out risk as the changes will be when you compile the final ship. The Schematic can give as low as 3 uses but I have seen 1 give 6 uses. The prices on the vary, I crafted the 1st Firespray on Tempest from the 1st Schematic myself and my SW partner kept one each and auctioned the other for 22 million. A Friend just got his schematic which was for 6 uses and sold his 1st Firespray for 30 million.

We just got our 2nd Firespray schematic and it has 5 uses, we are 1 disk away from our 3rd Schematic

I know crit fails dont' consume resources for SW, but does it consume a schematic usage?

One huge tip here. If you havent combined the disks yet.
Watch your ping. Make sure its really low. Like below 300. I did one compile with a ping of over 2k and it ate one of my disks.

I read somewhere that it could actually eat all the disks and not give u the schematic, no idea if this is true or not tho
