Thread: No Paint on Imperial Ships what about Insignias?

Since the paint kits won't work on Imperial ships - which is for obvious and great reasons - perhaps we can have one option to add the insignia of our squadron to our ships? Like a small decal showing Epsilon, Storm, or Inquisition logos?
Just an idea tossed around on our server forum this morning, thought I would share it.

Squadron insignias would be pretty cool IMO - after all, it's a pretty standard military practice.
I wouldn't see why not.

That would be pretty nice. I'd like to have an I.I. logo on my Tie Fighter.
If you won't let me have that, at least let me color it hot pink

Yea, I'd like to see either a squadron insignia or a squadron texture/paintjob, frankly I'd prefer the texture/paintjob, insignias tend to be hard to notice unless you are up close, but a paintjob tends to be seen farther out.

These would be really cool. They could be on the back plate of the TIEs and on the forward sweeps of the Decimator. It would be nice, too, if Imperial Pilots could add this to their Firesprays, if they have one.

I like the idea of Squadron Insignas and maybe kill banners on the ships. The kill banners would only apply to PvP though. It's a pretty common practice to have a flag or insignia on your craft for every kill.

I agree, insignias would be good for imperial ships,...for all ships for that matter. for now I put:

Heh! 6 months ago, me and some friends formed the Imperial Inquisition (II)-guild on my server, and now suddenly everybody wants to be in the Inqusition......

Sounds like a good idea, I dont think you can make any ships pink (thankfully)

I thought it was said that we would be able to customize our ships with emblems. Maybe they're still working on it.
