Thread: A simple suggestion for RE-ing, and really my only gripe about it.

I like the system, think that it's working as intended and very well for that matter, but one thing that irks me is that I can't choose which component the final result "looks like."Example: I have many requests to RE the lvl 6 engine received for the Rebel quests on Dantooine, but most want the engine RE'd such that it looks like a "normal" x-wing engine, with the 4 orange burning circular engines, instead of the drives that vaguely resemble the Falcon's engine. Just a thought.

Yeah, I loved the new look of my engine, but forgot to put it in first when REing it, and now, it looks like the generic X-Wing. Has a nice mass, though (somewhere around 7k, I believe)

I actually prefer the look of the 92.2 engine... here's my X-wing:

So, if I gather five more level 6 engines, I can get it RE'ed and still have my X-wing look like that?

More than likely, I've yet to RE one of these and have it come out other than that.

Read somewhere that the RE item will resemble the first item placed in the tool.
Also - you don't have to have 6 of the reward engines to REd, in fact, that would cost you 5 of them. All you need are 5 other engines of the same tech level.

Yeah, I know that.
I hope it would decrease the mass and restore the hitpoints... got blown up last night by tier 5 droid fighters that jumped me doing a mission last night. :/
