Thread: What are the best items to RE for Firespray schematic?

How exactly does the rev eng for Firespray schematic parts work? Is it simply the more times you do a rev eng the higher your chances you will get a piece to the schematic? Or since a level 6 rev eng takes 6 items does it count as 6 times?Wondering if it is better tojust rev eng all low level stuff. Obviously that way would be cheaper. Just curious if anyone has read anywhere about this.

from what I have read on these boards, this is purely random. So my advice would be to shoot for Lvl 1-2 components

Just luck of the draw. I happen to find one piece in a level 1 part that I RE'ed.

Thanks for the replies. I got one piece of the schematic but I did not notice when it showed up in my inventory. I have done a ton of re since then with no luck. I have be doing mostly level 4 and up, for my own ship and friends. I guess it is all about patience.

I've only gotten two pieces so far and both of them were from Kuat parts... hopefully my luck will get a little better soon b/c from the way it sounds I appear to be over the "average" for parts RE'ed vs Disc Frags.
In general, I hear it's random.

Yes patience iis the virtue I must agree with you there and follow it as well. I started first Re'ing with great luck I have 5 disks total now yet 2 of the 5 are duplicates of the others, so I only have 3 really. Yet I have been Re'ing for the past 5 days with no luck at all so just hang in there and it will happen!
