Thread: Need help with a decision
My biggest comment here is do what makes the game "FUN" for you. If you only have 1 acct and have your heat set on jedi, then yes it would probably be a good idea to just stockpile now and go Shipwright on your new toon. I say this b/c you use over 5 million resources to gain Master Shipwright to just drop it upon entering jedi'ism to start over, so now you are using 10 million resources to complete the task of 5 million. But again we go back to "WHAT MAKES THE GAME FUN FOR YOU?"

Okay, I'm a newer player in my second month. I don't have a huge stockpile of cash or resources so progressing through Shipwright is taking a long time. And I'm cool with that. The problem is I'm also planning to go Jedi. And Jedi + Crafting Profession = Death. Won't have enoughabilities with a single force skill mastery and no combat profession to supplement. So here's the dilemna:
Do I continue climbing up in SW given that it will be at least 18 weeks before opening the 2nd character slot because of the turnstile SOE put on the village quests, Or do I stop going up Shipwright now but continue collecting the resources to use with the 2nd character slot instead of wasting them?
Opinions?

Well said....Just keep in mind that if you choose the path to jedi anything you master with your main character will have to eventually be surrendered a little at a time as you progess more and moreintobecoming a jediby learning the necessary skills.
To me SW is too expensive of an investment to have to let go. If it were me and i was sure about becoming jedi i would focus on becoming jedi first and stockpile resources on the side to prepare for the SW grind. A positive side to this would be that HOPEFULLY all the shipwright issues at hand would be less than now and the non serious SW's would be long gone.
Above all else just remember to have fun!![]()
Good luck
but what i would do if i didn't have 2 accounts would be to master sw and a combat profession (no sw fs transfer
then once i was done getting the 24 boxes and got my second toon i would make him the master sw
there are pros and cons to this as you will have to regrind sw but if you are a master with your main now you will already be setup to do the regrind on your new slot that you got for completeing.
and plus you would have a shop setup and tons of lots to use for harvesting
thats what i can't wait for another 10 lots woot more resources for me
but its all up to you and how long it will take you to get jedi
