Okay, I am a 1/0/0/0 shipwright at this point and I am trying to fiund out what the best way to gain skill points is. It seems that mkaing Chassis is the best and fastest way to level, but the resource costs are insane. I am currently mining my butt off to try and get the resources needed to get another skill box. As you all know this can be an agonizingly slow process.

With that said, am I on the right track as far as leveling my shipwright? I am not trying to get there super fast, but rather catch him up to my pilot on another account so I can help RE parts he gets and then slowly become a true shipwright and set up a shop.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Just grind Chassis. You will need about 2 million steel, 1 million ore, and about 600k of inert petrochem, fiberplast, aluminum, and Iron...Just rough estimates mind you. But pretty close.

OH, one other question....

What type of factory do I use to manufacture parts? I have been tempted to buy one to make crates of missles and chaffs, but I don't know which type of factory to buy.

Does it matter?

Equipment Factory.

Subcomponents, RE Tools, Paint Kits, Missile Packs, and CM Packs are the only items that can be crated
