Is it possible to take a part of Firespray schematic also with piece with RE 1? if i analize them, is it possible that a aprt of schematic come off or i have to analize only RE 2 or highter?

I got a 6 use one last night.

12,000+ RE components done. 4 full schematics and 24+ duplicate fragments sitting in a bag next to me.
Here are the facts:
The fragments can come off of any part at any time at any level of Reverse engineering.
The fragments drop randomly.
Logging out and back in after getting a fragment does not set any hidden seed. The probability is on a per attempt basis, and previous attempt probabilities have no bearing.
Fragment drops are purely RANDOM.
The firespray schematics are temporary schematics allowing 3-possibly 5 or 6 uses before the schematic goes poof from the data pad.
Please try and not duplicate the Jedi "guess my prof" theory nonsense again around this.. it gives people headaches
Happy REing.

Nice to see some facts. However, I think it is important to know if you have seen any change in the drop rates after patch 11.2. Some people are suggesting that there were some changes made. I have seen people stating that the drop rate in general has decreased or that they now only drop when doing RE on a Kuat loot item.
You are saying that it is "purely random". I am always a little confused what people mean by that. There has to be some (unknown) probability value in place. I think that perhaps you mean that this probability is unaffected by the level and/or type of the component(s) being RE'd. I would like to know if you have been able to see if the probability is the same when doing a single RE on 1 lvl 1 item as opposed to a single RE on 10 lvl 10 items, for instance. If you think that every time you perform RE the probability is always the same, then it is clearly much more efficient toonly RE low level stuff.
do you think the chance is based on the component, or just the reverse engineering process.
By that I mean is there a 10x higher chance of getting a fragment from a level 10 RE than a level 1 RE because you are using 10x the number of components, or is it just a straight "dice roll" on the RE itself ?
If it is just on the RE itself, then statistically, it would be quicker, easier and cheaper to just RE level 1 loot in massive quantities to get the fragments.
