Why do we pay for the ship chassis blueprints, then have to pay yet again to get a ship deed? We don't need to do this for vehicles. Why can't we simply buy a ship deed straight from the SWs, and cut out this rediculous middle-bothan?
And why are all the chassis brokers Bothan?

Basically it is just a decision by the devs in order to get some money out of the system. At first I felt is was stupid and annoying. But I actually think it can be justified if you consider that you are no longer paying any ticket fees for interplanetary travel. So if you want, you can consider this a one-time fee (per deed) that allows you to use the public starports for traveling and parking your ship.

Never thought about it like that. Thanks

and since you can jump to every planet without making a short stop on corellia, who will blame the devs for a short credit of 20k+?

Also, the deed you get from the chassis dealer decides where your new craft is hangered. You can't buy a deed from the Coronet chassis dealer, take the shuttle to Tyrena and then launch your new ship.
My guess is that this is the reason the chassis dealers exist.

you can travel to your end destination create the ship and then re-deed and re-create it and it will be at the new port without having to shuttle other ships around.

What the hell are you guys talking about? The ship is hangered at whatever starport you traveled to last. If you create a ship at Coronet on Corellia, then use the ship to travel to Theed on Naboo, the ship is at Theed now. If you take a commercial flight back to Coronet, then your ship is still at Naboo.
