Thread: SWs i need you opinion about that steel!

Hello all,
There's been many steel spawn this week and there's that decent Duralloy Steel named Tribeceiam with stats of:
768 CR, 579 CD, 938 DR, 958 HR, 350 MA, 420 OQ, 997 SR and 925 UT.
Now i was inclined to go all out for that but i was told that this next steel is one of the best (for OQ) that has spawned for quite some time... it's named: Crystallized Bicorbantium Steel with those stats:
897 CR, 629 CD, 903 DR, 94 HR, 337 MA, 997 OQ, 638 SR and 80 UT
Now from those stats i'd say the Duralloy is better but i was told that this 997 OQ is a godsend for ShipWrights since OQ deal with ship's mass. Now is that a fact?
Just woudln't want to get stuck with million unit of a steel that's lame :-)
Thanks in advance

That's incorrect. Ship mass is MA/OQ/SR/UT. OQ makes up only 25%.
897 CR, 629 CD, 903 DR, 94 HR, 337 MA, 997 OQ, 638 SR and 80 UT
Can you mail some to Kettemoor?
For steel, that's pretty good conductivity as well, which matters for some non-shipwright stuff.

I will probably have over 35 Heavy Harvesters on that stuff...
Will keep you posted!

Hold onto your horses there X, even though that steel isn't the best for chassis manufacturing (the first listed is actually better for that), it is about the best you can use for missiles and counter measure packs. These take steel and high grade polymetric radio with oq/pe as the experimental stats. Steel has no PE, and with an OQ of 997, you can't get too much better than that

I plan on doing some experimenting using this steel and the HGP radio from jtl launch to see what I can conjure up on my packs.
PS - If you're a miner looking for a buyer, send an email to Scoobysnax ingame. I'm looking for an additional 500k to add to my stock.

thats a no brainer. i would mine 80 gazzallion-batrillion-fablilion units of option #2.
And exactly how many harvesters will that take?
