So I was out playing in my MP ship and it dawned on me that these things have all this mass and nothing filling it (as I expect many others have). They are also far to easy to beat up a few good hits and they are pretty much toasted, so with the whole idea of grouping and such I thought (as others have), maybe there should be a new level of equipment, with very high mass, very high output (not on weapons these do enough damage).
I think this would really promot the use of MP ships in Deep space as forward command posts with groups of players on board able to gun down incoming targets and would lead to some great space battles. Of course it would mean taking out a MP ship would be an achievement.
ideas or thoughts?

I have a feeling that some of the stuff in JTL was designed low so that they could sclae thing up with time and not have the state of a top end that they can just bairly get closer to (see armor with its 90% resist now as an example). As the expanion is now just bairly a month old and all the plaeyers with lots of time have mastered and gotten their 'best' ship and are now clammering for more. Thing is you can not make a succesful game catering to just those as if you do that you again run into the problems. I have a feeling that in future we will see changes to what can put in ships and aditions. Maybe loot based or quest based for schematic like the RIS or the axe or other weapons. Thing is again can not keep filling up every bit of space right after launch because then you have no space to expand later. While not sure if its coded in the back end a cool fix for now might be have the control ability that the chasis controls also have a modifier based on how much of your total mass you use. Thus those who get more for less get even more of a boost over those that want to have not a single poit of mass or energy not used.
