I have a newb question: does the way you construct the chassis have any effect on manueverability, or lets just say on ne thing besides mass and hitpoints? For example with the same engine in 2 a-wings, could one be more manueverable because of the way the blueprint was made?

Nope. All your manuervability comes from the engine.
