The required stats for the speed experimentation on an engine is PE & OQ, yet why is it that when I craft an engine (using the same Overdrive add-in) using resources with lousy PE and decent OQ, its comes out not much different - and here I am talking maybe 0.1 or 0.2 to speed - over resources that have PE/OQ >997?
I have a variety of some very nice resources (inc a very rare high CD/OQ stat Aluminum) yet I am noticing that whilst there can be as much as 300 points difference in the resource stats, that this is translating into very minimal differences in the final products!!
Is that the resource stats are averaged over all of the various weightings and is not working as intended, or am I missing something?
For the record I am using a +15 too, a +43.4 crafting station and am in a Research based city (drinking Bespin whilst experimenting).

First off, the resources corrilate with innital construction results, experiementation is independant. Second, I would have to assume that the weightings are indeed off, After the addition of an extra 5 exp uses during beta there was minimal time to ensure that all resources were accuratly weighed. As long as we keep it in the air, there is a chance it will be fixed.
