In beta all these things where on the engine, since it was not depending on the engine but the ship it was removed. We do still remember all off them but what if they are changed. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to display it chassis, since it's depends on that.

your saying Yaw Pitch and roll does not do anything for you on an engine?

PYR are important, there is both an engine and a chassis modifier, these along with your speed modifer determine your best turning speed. The higher the PYR onthe engine the higher your turning speed will be. Look for a post about turning speed in the pilot forum (maybe it was here)it has the formula to figure it out, and from my testing it is dead on.
Basically a the same ship will turn best at a faster speed with an engine that has a PYR ratting of 90 for each compaired to the same craft that has an engine with ratings of 60 for PYR.

Do most shipwrights put the overdriver componate in their engines and then exp on Y/P/R

It depends on the customer, they usually ask me to max out speed and if any points are left over to toss 'em in PY. Rotate from what I've heard is slightly less important than P and Y.

I used to do an overdrive and then max out speed on the final combine, any left overs would go into p/y/r evenly. Space is big (kind of), and it takes a while when your waypoint is 16KM away. Now that I know that higher PYR valuse increase your optimum turning speed I'm going to test out some engines with the overdriver and then put the experimentation into p/y/r. For slow ships like the tie bomber I think this might be the optimum setting, of course if the loss of speed overall speed offsets any gain in manuvering speed I'll just go back to the way I was doing it. I'm currious if this will raise the overall turn speed, or just the throttle setting. As an example:
My current 80.5 speed engine in a tie bomber gives a speed of 644, optiumum turning is around 50% (322 speed). If I can make an engine that is 75 speed that would give me a top speed of 600, lets say that I got the optiumum turning speed up to 60% throttle, then the turn speed would be 360, a little faster, hence better turn rates. But if it only went up to 52% then the turn speed would be 312, so I have a craft that is slower, and turns slower, just at a higher throttle setting, no good! Should be an interesting experiment.
