Broken Math or Wrong Experimental Values Stated....ok heres whats been bugging me for a couple days now.
Reactor Overcharger's High Grade Polymetric Radioactive
states
Experimental Rates of 60% OQ & 40% PE we finally got a better (or at least I thought) shift on my server..
Old stuff "Omnineoveniian" oq 843/pe 845 = 60% 506oq/ 40% 338pe.. total point value out of 844/1000
New stuff "Idofe" oq 930/pe 789 = 60% 558oq/ 40% 316pe total point value of 874/1000
Ok so not a huge improvement but the new stuff is 30points higher non the less, but heres the problem.
Old 844 value after initial assembly great success...
ex. energy 25% = 427.92285
ex. mass 25% = 228.83084
New 874 value, after initial assembly great success
ex energy 25% = 426.74222 30 points higher on required but lower energy bonus
ex. mass25% = 229.30312 and higher mass than the old
Steel is the same in both cases with 60% of 985oq = 591
I thought maybe it was Just reverced and tried the calculator of the formula at 60% pe & 40% oq, but that yeilds #'s of 730.2 old vs. 845.4 new..
I then tried the HGP Rad on some missle packs with similar results...
old Radiation50/50 rated 843, intial assembly great success spacebomb 1
4587.7827 min
7448.0234 max
7.792109 refire
VS. both 0.854102
ammo 2
new Rad 50/50 rated 859, same as above
4561.8223 min
7405.873 max
7.824973 refire
VS both 0.849269
ammo 2
Well needless to say I'm now lost, if this carries through on all ShipWright math, whats going on? anyone know..

i haven't stoped to break it down like you have but i have noticed a few items with math issues in parts, using better quality stuff sometimes yeilding a lesser product, with a switch on just one resource that was better, i would see a slightly lower stat that should have been higher...
