It occurs to me that the better the part, the better the RE result.
Max Damage of 4000 * 1.06 == 4240.
Max Damage of 3800 * 1.06 == 4028.
Not a huge difference, but still - better is better.
Except droid interfaces.
10 speed * 1/1.06 == 9.04 (9.1 effectively)
9.2 speed * 1/1.06 = 8.67 (8.7 effectively)
As you can see, we started with a unit .8 seconds better yet ended up with half that after improvement.
Is this a problem or am I nit-picking?
I know I'd appreciate the difference .4 x 4 on a Decimator under heavy fire would make...

A 10 speed D.I. should only RE down to 9.4, not 9.1. If you RE'd a 10 speed D.I. and it came out to 9.1, then either something messed up or you had a 9.6 or 9.7 D.I. in there that you didn't notice. Also, are you sure the formula is 1/1.06? Whenever I preplan my RE projectsI've been using .94 instead of 1/1.06. The difference is only .0034, however on say a 50k mass level 10 item, that would amount to a 170 difference in mass depending on if its .94 or 1/1.06.

No those aren't cold hard numbers, i was just pulling them out of the ether to use as an example.
I suppose I should use real numbers....
I did in fact have a 9.9 RE to 9.2, and at the time of posting I had just REd a 9.7 .... it went to 9.1.
I was expecting better (8.9 or 9.0), which is what prompted the post.
