I have one and it works fine.

I would first make sure it has the proper crafting station installed ( you never know..), and make sure you call it out when you use it.You will need to initialize it from you inventory... That moves it to your data pad and then you can call it from there.

Also, in order to craft, you need to have a starship crafting tool and the skill of Novice Shipwright, but I guessfrom what I read, I think you already do.

They work as portable crafting stations.

You call them, and then you start crafting. There's no programming nessisary for it.

Not sure, but just in case you're thinking otherwise, they're not a portable factory, and they don't do your crafting for you. They just sit and act like that big housebound crafting station you have.

Can someone please tell me how they work? I bought one and I have no idea how to program it to craft. It has starship crafting station and private crafting station enabled. Is there some skill I need that I dont know about?
