Thread: New POB ship with Trials of Obi-Wan

This seems to have missed this forum... from swgvault.com:


There will be a new starship available in the expansion. Though I can't announce what ship it is yet, I can say that you will be able to enjoy traveling around in it with your friends.


So has anyone got any word on this? I assume it's going to be a quest reward and not a schematic again? I really, really hope they're not talking about the new Y-8 with the extra turrets.

its not the Y-8, but some people have been saying YT2400 which is the exact same as the YT1300 with a little different shape.

All kinds of ideas have been thrown around. My favorite guess is the shuttle of course, but who knows what it will be at this point.

Just as long as it craftable. I really hope it has pilot controlled forward firing guns (the YT-2400 does), and I really hope it's not a quest version of the Ebon Hawk.

Actually the one I'm thinking of is the one from Return of the Jedi, but let me STRESS these are just regular players trying to guess what it is going to be. None of these ideas are being thrown around by devs or anyone who actually knows what the ship will be.

I don't care whetherit's craftable or not. Ships take upway too many resources. I only assemble ships if the customer brings the resources to me, then it's a flat fee of 30k for my time.My price was derived by a guy coming to me with the resources and offering 30k for assembly, so ever since then, I've stayed with it. Before that, I didn't assemble at all.

My opinion is "Who Cares!" I'm a pilot, and I'm gonna want one. Even if it turns out to be that butt-ugly Ebon Hawk ship. (I actually searched to find out what that ship was. Thanks for a wonderful waste of time. Really. )

It will either be Yoda's ship from EP III (we will all have to sit on each other like in the clown cars) or E.T.'s ship.

A Star Destoryer (think this was a joke)

Some ship the devs are creating spicifly for the game that has never been sean before

I hope it is the Theta shuttle or something else i can see all faction use, that rules out the YT-xxxx and the Lambda because i see YT-1930, YT-2000, YT-2400 as neutral ships and the Lambda as imperial only. I am a big fan of Lambda so i hope it is the Theta shuttle so i got oen to use until the lambda gets introduced for the Imps.


The Ebon Hawk wouldnt i cry if we get it and the same goes for the Naboo ships the importent thing is it is craftable and not a stupid reward ship
