Hi fellow Shipwrights,

I've noticed for some time now that I'm beginning to cater more and more to the Shipwright Crafter than the pilots themselves. Granted I still cater to pilots, but my business customer base has shifted to 60% Pilots / 40% Shipwrights.

I started noticing this when I put up some shipwright subcomponents on a vendor for later use. Yes, as a shipwright you have lots of stuff, and with 40 odd-named resources for subcomponents, you have to stash crates of subcomponents somewhere. These subcomponents were being bought on a regular basis. I personally don't mind. Considering my subocomponents are made w/ amazing successes and with a 17point suit with rare spawns, then that subcomponent will elevate a normal shipwright to reach even higher, and all w/o the expense of a 17 point suit and rare named resource spawns.

Then second thing I noticed is that my RE-Storage vendor which is neatly organized get's constant business. That is whereI list each part xxxxx level for example a level 6 Reactor would be listed for 66666 and a level 8 part would be listed for 888888. This makes things easier to search, as you can sort by price and RE at will. Of course, surpisingly a level 8 part listed for 88,888 do sell or sometimes for 888,888 if it's a real good part. I RE now mostly for KSE Firespray disks as most of my ships are already equipped.

I still get pilots who buy ready-made chips. I sell all kinds of chips as Rebel, Imperial, Freelance pilots are on my staff.

I guess the point is, being a subcomponent manufacturer & wholesale RE store-house has become the business du juor for me. I haven't sold chassis, nor most crafted parts... but I do sell my Level 5 14.1K energy reactors.....

That's about it, thoughts? This has allowed me to focus more on piloting and doing black-sun mission rather than crafting within a chassis tight tolerances or doing 3 hour special orders.
