Before I stopped crafting POB equipment (When Pub 24 was announced, lol) I was selling them for 250k - 350k. I was wondering if we shipwrights are going to increase our prices, and what you usually sell/sold for on your respective servers...

At 1 million your just being greedy as hell. These things should actually be cheaper than they were before (taking less to make them) or at the very least the same price. But if you do wanna charge a million, that's cool; know why? The miners will just start selling youasteroids at 500 cpu. Now, does that sound fair?

I normally don't get in game until late evening,so by the time I get on, the market will already be set and I'll price accordingly.

Although the resources are reduced by half, the effectiveness will be increased by 3 times, so I'll hope other SW's and our customerswill take that into consideration.

For me it will depend on the following equation.....

Miners on server divided by shipwrights on server multiplied by asteroids obtained plus normal resource cost.

If the total isgreater then the hassle to get the asteroids then great. Otherwise, I will just add that hassle into the equation.

IfI have to mine it myself, it adds to the cost, unlike most that think that doing it yourself should reduce the cost. That is plain silly.

Even now, the cost to get ground resouce X to make part Y is being priced at 30-33 cpu. The resources cost up to 50 cpu in the server for the ones I use if I want to replace or add to the current stock. I am told that other shipwrights have discovered ways around using the best resources, but of course non of them will share the information.

I dont have competition on my server, I have fellow shipwrights that I have tried to advertise for in the times when I am out of a part or in the cases when I dont make a certain part.So in the event that the price for elite parts is less then the effort to get the asteroids, my fellow shipwrights will be getting refferals from me. I spend a million to make 1 million. I dont wish to spend 2 million to make 1 million as is the case with asteroid parts....so time will tell.

It's this simple chipmunk. The items will cost what the market will bear. And your petulent whining about it will bring about as much change as shouting at the rain. So...

I appreciate we often have different opinions on topics so let's try to use as little hostile language as possible.

I currently sell Elite components at 250k - well I don't sell any now since I tell everyone to wait. So I'll likely drop the price to 200k.

based on people at least on intrepid wanting 100 cpu minimum just to look at an asteroid let alone mine it this seems fair to me. If i have to mine it myself I probably wont stock them, just make them for friends and guildies. To be honest i won't look at an asteroid for a much less than about a million cpu let alone mine it

I think I will charge 250K for Elite components, but I'll most likely auction some fully equipped PoBs the first days with 250K per Elite component as min bid.

Not extremely overpriced and the Pilots who are willing to pay more to be the firsts to own a PoB ship with post-P24 crafted components have their chance.

BTW, not only asteroid resources are used in the elite components; good regular resources (I use pretty good ones) can go as high as 20 or 25 cpu.

they will sell at market price for your server. if you've been buying space resources make sure you take that into account. if you've been mining them yourself you already know the joy of trying to get the resources.

POB ship parts will become highly sought after right after publish. I suggest you take the opportunity to take advantage of the situation.

i would pay500k easilyfor a very well crafted part. howeverif its substandard compared to another sw's parts then i would expect to pay alot less.
