Thread: No schematic

I found nothing pertinent on my search of forum topics. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
I can not get the option to create a factory schematic when I craft. I started this game as a DE at launch, went combat, crafted with doc, bunch of stuff here and now i again have a crafter account. I admittedly have not crafted since JTL beta. I am in my own house in my player city where i have declared residence. I am using a 15 rated shipwright tool by someone that I do not know and a level 43 crafting station which is made by the preeminent architect on my server. When I get to stage 4 I get the option to experiment and to make a prototype. No schematic option. Does anyone have a clue. Is this a known bug?

You can only make schems for SW upgrades as far as the actual Main component you cant make a schem for it

Get used to ALOT of had crafting with SW. SOE designed it that way. The only things you can use a factory for are missiles, paint and texture kits, and subcomponents. All ships and components must be crafted by hand.
