Hello everyone, I bought a new account a few weeks ago and am loveing the Ship wright profession.
I have one question. A while ago soon after ROTW came out I did the astroid mineing quest, went and collected 10k from all the astroids in game. A friend of mine is a Master ship wright and I had him make me one of the new textures. This is a y-wing texture #7 and it doesn't seem to work. My questioin, is this a bug, or do I have to do something special to use it.

Welcome to the SW forums
I haven't heard of any bug with any texture except in regards to the xwing/adv xwing thing. Of course, that doesn't mean there isn't a bug, just that I haven't heard about it.
Try /bugging it and /ticketing it ingame and see what kind of response ya get.
Also, I think theres a bug thread around here somewhere. Might want to post there

It has to do with which slot it's in in your datapad. You can only retexture ships in slots 1-3 (i think), but i haven't really figured out how to move em around.

According to one guild member, you can do the following to move a ship to the top of the list:
launch in the ship you want at the top.
hyper somewhere, anywhere.
land.
logout and log back in.
Unfortunately I haven't tested this - let me know if it works.

you could also try unloading and redeeding one of your current ships, that might change the order around enough.

Thankx for the replies, I am pretty sure me y-wing was in the second slot, but I do have 5 ships in data pad.
I will play around with it tonight and let ya know what I find.
