Thread: Fastest Engine Ever ?

Ok so i wandred in from the smuggler forums because i want to get prepaired for the smuggler missions. Currently i am running an engine in my YT with a top speed of 118.7 or 118.9 (i forget name but its level 10). Is this the fastest an engine can go and if not whats the max top speed and engine could possibly go. I want my ship to break the 1k mark without boosters, dont care about turn speeds just plain SPEED lol.
So if anyone knows be a great help

120 is the theoretical max, I think 119.9 is possible with musician buff. My Mark V engines are around 119.1.
After publish 24, the POB-only Elite engines will be fixed and should be in the range of 130 speed. Who knows when that will be since that publish is not even on TC at the moment.

119.9 is 120. Remember, once it hits 119.5, it gets rounded up.

On Wanderhome someone has a 123 speed RE'd engine. Sucks cuz here we shipwrights were having a contest to break the speed record, and here comes some shlub with an engine that probably dropped in the first week of JTL totally kicking our asses, lol.

Do you have an Engine Overload droid program? Once loaded it's a perma-buff until you land or repair.
You'll have well over 1k speed without boosters. I get 1400+ on one of my ships with only EO3.

Fastest Mark V engine that can be crafted is 120.0. I've hit 120.0 speed on Lowca. I had 100% experimentation on both subcomponent and the engine itself for speed using a musician buff. Without the buff, my Mark V engines would hit 119.7 spd.

The best resources on Eclipse are making 119.4. The Silicastic for overdriver is a bit lacking and the radioactive is only 943PE and 900OQ

120.0 on Bloodfin with 2 diff types of Steel... 119.9 with my old subcomponents (made wo musician buff) and 119.5 or so without buff at all

I think he is trying to nudge me. I have to finish Jabba's Theme park and the Rebel stuff before I craft enough to perfect that engine Kloud. That was my 5th engine ever, don't pick on me

Wow, that's great. Can you please tell me how you get 100% experimentation on anything SW's make? Highest I've ever got was 96% and I use some really great resources. We have so many different resources with multiple aspects to max out(sometimes as many as three), I really did not think100% would ever be possible.

just keep in mind as you are seeing here this can vary greatly from server to server as certain resources dont spwan as well
