Thread: Does the Droid and Droid Interface work automatically?

Ok this might be a dumb question, but does the droid do his thing all on his own or do you need to activate commands for him to do his tasks?

No, after you launch into space go to the Abilities menu and select Astromech/Droid tab then you can take the listed commands and add them to your Hotkey toolbar.
Note: Droid commands must be programmed and loaded into the droid/flight computer on the ground be before launching into space.

Ok I have a flight computer and a droid interface. How do i program them? Do I need a droid engineer?
Also how do i target with missles, Im think this is part of the targeting computer.

1. targeting works automatically when you've got a missile launcher loaded. just keep your targeting reticle over the ship till you hear the tone then fire.
2. To program an astromech/flight comp you need to buy some blank droid programming modules (made by Droid Engineers) each chip can hold one command. then you drag the programmed chip into the datapad of your astromech and voila. when you get into space you can add the commands to your toolbar
