hi, this is my first post in this forum and it is because after about a year of crafting meds, mostly because of the cu, i am bored with it. i am looking to pick up a new profession and shipwright has caught my attention because it seems like it is the most in-depth crafting profession out there. the re'ing has especially caught my attention. i dont craft for money, i craft for the love of crafting and to produce the best quality product possible. what i am looking for is a little bit of advice from established shipwrights. i need to know what i need to look for in the way of sea's, the only ones i see around are chassis experimentation and weapon systems experimentation. are these the only ones available or are there more. i would also like to hear from you who have been masters in other crafting professionson how shipwright compares. thanks, and i look forwrd to participating here in the future if in fact i do become master shipwright.

There is also a engine experimentation SEA.

Well out of the crafting professions I've done, I would have to say that SW has become one of the most indepth. AS used to hold that title, but after the CU, it's one line experimentation. The only thing that I do not like about SW is the lack of factory support. There is just too many parts to have to hand craft them all. If it was my only crafting profession, it prob wouldn't be so bad. The only thing I really do now in SW is RE and make parts for freinds.

I love the profession and really have nothing bad to say about it except the factory support thing.. and that really isn't bad, it's just that I'm kind of lazy some days. Try it out, it's a lot of fun to play around with especially when your a pilot too.

I have to agree with UmmonPrime. SW is now the most in-depth crafting profession in SWG. All the other professions have been dumb downed to a greater or lesser extent. If you want to craft for the joy of it, SW is the profession for you.
