all non combat professions get 5 extra lots per master box..
entertainers need the extra lots for catinas
crafters for miners/harvestors
mayors for city structures
docs for med centers
merchants for tents
you get the picture. i dont think this is too much to ask. please help push it along

Hmm,
So everyone with at least one non combat profession mastered would get 5 extra lots adding up to a possible total of 500 extra items in the database per character? That would mean my shipwright would get 10 extra lots. Imagine that times the number of people with 2 non-combat profs, that's a potential of 1000 extra items and possibly even 5 extra houses per character!
I'm all for more lots I love lots believe me, but that is a lot of database space to be asking for in order to "throw a bone". I won't argue the fact that I'd love to have more lots, but I'm not sure it would be advisable. Still, nice idea and I'm sure it would make players happy.

The only reason I get by is because I have a Jedi, so I get 20 lots. I couldn't imagine being a single toon crafter. No place to put the massive amount of resources we have as well ashave enough lots to lay down harveys. I need 4 lots just to store my resources. That leaves only 6 lots when sometimes 3 things I need spawn at once. There's no way to get enough units.

Ya, I just thought about the amount the OP was suggesting. Personally, I think 2 per master box would be more reasonable.... even just 1 more would make a difference. One wouldn't give an additional house, it would be giving an additional harvestor which is what Master Crafter needs, not just wants.

City structures don't take lots. Politicians don't need it. (Coming from a Master Politician.)

Politicians even get extra lots. The City Hall uses 0 lots and has the same storage capacity than a large house! Only problem is that you need to maintain a city, but that can be easily achieved via citizenship trade with other servers.
Oh, you only need to be Novice Politician to place a City Hall, it uses no Skill Points and has no requirements.
