Wow... I sure haven't been paying attention. I received a merc bandoleer when I completed my first RSF mission and then never noticed any reward after that.
Probably got mixed up with all my ship loot and sold to the chassis dealer.
Don't I feel like a bonehead now!

I tried to look this up, but search is being poopy. 
I see much talk of "reward" components vs. "loot" components, and I'm wondering what the difference is.
Are reward components just extremely rare drops? Or are they actual rewards for accomplishments?
Just curious.

For the most part, people mean the reward components you receive when completing a mission for your trainer.
Here is a list.
There are a couple quest reward components as well. Eyma gives out a gun and a booster (I think) and the Nym Starmap quest gives out a gun and an engine.
