Just got out of the kessel system and this is my 3rd time runnin into one of these. The recharge is pretty high, so I want to know the opinions of shipwrights

Ok, I want to know specifically how I go about REing this thing. Do I have to use level 10 components or five? How good of a capacitor is this? I looked @ the averages and on the R.R. for a level 5 is double.


Questions? Advice?

You go by the RE level which components you need. If you put that one in the tool first, it will come out as a Cert lvl 5 though.

The RE level is what matters. If it's an RE Level 10, you need 9 other RE Level 10 capacitors to go with it.

Mediocre, I'd say.

I can craft Mark V (L9) capacitors with 55 recharge and 1150 energy, with 37k mass.

Since it is a RE level 10 you will need 9 other RE level 10 caps which means the final mass after RE will still be WAY higher than a standard level 5 capacitor. Yes the Recharge rate is nice but the energy is only average or below what you can get on a level 4 cap with much lower mass. Level6 caps will have mass in the 8-10k range and still have much higher energy and recharges approaching the same as yours. So IMHO even though you can RE it with a Cert level of 5 it really will not be all that desireable due to the extra mass of a level 10.

I can craft MarkIV Capacitors with more then 50 Recharge and even lower mass.

The only thing I have noticed is that people aren't searching the boards for crafted goods all that much...

I have, to see where I should price my parts.

For some reason, most of the stuff I see in the Bazaar search feature, is crap and priced way above what I charge for items, but I don't seem to be selling them like mad. I believe that pilots just aren't looking through the bazaar for parts all that much.

You need 9 others cap to RE this.

then it will be a lvl 5 certified. Obviously far better than "normal" lvl 5 stuff, because odd lvl are craps (it s a fact...).

R Rate is ok, but Capacitor energy is too low.

This is pretty heavy mass, I would go for a lower mass one and get cap overload 3 for the win...

With Weapon Capacitor Overcharge, and Weapon Overcharge Droid Chips, low Mass Capictors with Decent, but not Uber energy/recharge are what are sought out. It's the Low Mass that is the Brass Ring, here, and, what would sink your Lvl 5 item here. To be what a great number of pilots are seeking out, you'd need to trim your Mass down to under 4-6 K Mass...
