because you can only RE one level 1 component, there is no disadvantage to RE'ing now, and like it was said already you get the 1% boost to stats, and a (small) chance at a firespray disk.

But let me ask you this : what stats do you have on this reactor, just out of curiosity?

I looted one of these last night as well and was pleasantly surprised. I normally just RE my lvl 1 stuff and sell it back to the chassis dealer since 99.9% of it is junk anyway, but I'm glad I found that 0.01% that is actually useful. While this reactor would probably be lovely in my alt's X-Wing, I'm probably tossing it into my RG TIE Interceptorso that I can have a stylish ship for RP that's also viable for helping out my guildmates in space (I'm getting tired of my plain-jane heavy TIE).

As far as the KSE Firespray disks go, I've been very lucky with RE lvl 1 stuff lately and have found 6 disks in the past three days...all from lvl 1 REs. If you're interested in the Firespray schematic at all, then I say RE even the lvl 1 junk...the chassis dealer will buy it anyway
