Thread: BE CAREFUL IN CRAFTING LOSSING LARGE AMOUNTS OF RESOURCES!!!!

I noticed this once before but over the last couple of days it has happened to me 3 times now at a cost of over 270k of rare, expenive, and ancient resources. It has happened with no general pattern or no specific schematic but when you load a resource in by click on your inventory it will take the entire stack. Last example a 91k stack of of the best radio active to spawn on our server thats atleast a year old. I clicked on it to load 650 units into my mark 4 engine and it took the whole stack. I tried to unload the resource and it only gave me the 650 untis back out. Im out close to 12 million in the past two days because of this. I have reported the bug but we will see what happens.



Please post here if anyone else has had this problem

Ouch, that hurts.

Unloading has never worked for me. I always get some error message. So when I load up something I didnt want I just cancel out.

Or even better yet hears a new one. when you go to experment it only gives you half the boxes that you should have to exp on so you cant make a part worth anything. 29% speed before exp and then i only get 5 out of 10 boxes to exp up intstead of the full 10. What is going on?

For a change instead of asking for help perhaps i can give it



Try to split the 650 stack it gave you back I had this problem and that fixed it for me its all still there just labeld wrong

I had a problem where it looked like all the resources in my pack dissapeared. I paniced, ran around in circles crying out against the fates, then tried logging out and back in. And there they were, all safe and snug in my pack again heh


As to removing resources after dropping them into a schematic, I've found that if the resources you are using are in a bag or other container and you get the error about invalid container or whatever when trying to remove them, just go up to the main level of your inventory and remove them to there. Seems to work well for me. I've had to do it a bunch now with the resource bars being messed up.

This can often happen if you have more than one crafting station in your house and you are closer to another. Say you have the SW crafting and a clothing crafting, if you are standing closer to the clothing crafting station, it can have screwy effects on your crafting tool and the EXP and things.

I have not encountered the first problem at all and I craft about as much as you. The second one here is what I though you where talking about....what I do is put those parts in Practice Mode and count the resources at a loss.....I cannot put such useless stuff on my vendors. This second part is what has been happening alot and costing alot of RARE resources. I am down to 7k of the Radioactive you speak about....and im not about to pay 50+ CPU for it....so yes a big loss...

Oh man I thought it was me! This is happening to other people too? I think I lost about 200k of my favorite aluminum in about 10 minutes yesterday. I was like wait where did it go? It has something to do with what's stored in your crafting station... like moving it from your crafting station to your inventory from within the crafting menu or loading resources directly from the station. I dunno, all I know is I'm out 200k of prime aluminum. When crafting I move my stuff to the inventory from the crafting station via the crafting tool and pull resource from there. That seems to have fixed it but I really am only guessing. Such a pain though. Sigh.

Something similar was reported on the WS forums about tools eating stacks of resources. Double Click on the resource and it should pull just what is needed, don't drag the stack.
