Hello,
I am going to start to get into the SW field.
My question is what values on the resouces are the most important for SW?
Like OQ/SR or OQ/DR?
And if they are different for the different itemscan you list them here?
Sorry I tried to find some information here, but didn't see anything that had this listed.
Forgive me if I missed it.
Thanks

You'll find OQ is required in nearly all components we make. UT and CD are probably the second most common and I have yet to see anything that needs DR. Other than that, there's really too many to list.

UT is important for chassis, and stuff like hitpoints on most parts (but you usually are more concerend with the others stats and not hitpoints).
OQ and CD seem to be most commonly needed. PE is required on a lot, but since metals dont have that stat you just need the one resource to have a high PE. A good resource for checking out the stats needed is SWGcraft, and also the 'Current Best Resources for Shipwright' Tool linked in the stickies.

So UT is the second command one for most parts?
Like weapons and missles?

You should understand something about shipwright. It is different from the other crafting professions in a number of ways. Unline weaponsmith that needs CD and OQ for just about everything, shipwright needs certain qualities to improve certain aspects of a crafted component. As a general rule, the only things that do not seem to matter are DR, MA, and CR.

A few general things needed (can look up specifics on the above site or at http://www.tc.umn.edu/~lamm0039/cgi-bin/swg/cbr.cgi):
High OQ/CD metals go into lots of parts
Chassis experimentation needs a highaverage value for OQ, SR, UT, HR for hit points, and OQ, SR, UT, MAL for mass.
Any fuel/reactive gas/radioactive needed for SW needs high PE and OQ
If you get steel with high OQ but crappy stats otherwise, it's good for missiles/bombs
If you get steel with super high OQ/CD/SR/UT, don't use it on chassis or you'll be sorry later when you need it for other stuff.
