I got a looted reactor and r/e'd it, and energy generation is over 40k, mass is just at 20k. Anyone else finding any of these?

Yes, I have....I've got a reactor that is 44k generation, 28k mass and I had another that was 30k generation, don't remember the mass on that one though

Sounds like a really nice L7 vortex job.

You actually could have gotten the mass down into the 15s, which would have made for an absurdly great reactor...the kind you could fit into a clone ship torun two WO4'd guns on. Still a very very nice piece.

The reactor i use is a lvl 7 with around 43k energy and only, wait for it....11k mass. I love this thing. I haven't run ROanything since i got it. It's nive being able to run EO4 without worring about energy.

Yeah, I have an RE'd lvl 7 reactor that's 48.8k gen with around 16k mass. Rocks the house in my KSE.

i have the most insane of all reactors level 7 pre RE was 52k power generation with 13999 mass..

now that i have RE'ed it its 54k generation and 13439 mass.. the vortex is one hella nice loot to get..

Not quite as nice as some, but I have a 29-30k generation 13k mass. Very nice.

Isn't there a level 8 reactor that get's the higher gen rates too? That would explain the higher mass....

The L8 is the Kuat Systems Engineering RCT-Z Reactor, I have a 24k Gen one in my YKL right now, but spaceloot shows em as high as 37.4k

I'm personally trying to find a high-gen L7 to go with my 14.9k mass one, aiming for the 30k gen range.

I've seen the L7s go as low as 13k mass, and heard that they can go even lower (someone always gets a better stat, no matter how good you think yours is).

on the other end of the scale, Ive got a 14.8k gen reactor in my ship at the moment that will RE down to 2.4k mass when I choose to RE it....(its a non-REd level 3 atm)

sort of other end of the scale I know, but kind of on-topic!

Oooo. I'd almost kill for a 14.8k gen L3!!! It'd go nicely with my 1600 mass L3.

In other words, try to hold out for a L3 with a mass under 2k to go with that awesome gen!
