Thread: What do you Shipwright's need?

Hello people.I've recently started a resource business and wanted to reach out to the Shipwright community. Since swgcraft doesn't have the Shipwright skill tree, I figured this would be the best way. So what is it you guys need? What type of resource and specific resources and what qualities to look for. And I don't want to forget the upcoming Shipwrights, so what grind resources do you need also? I really appreciate any info here guys and gals. Thank you for your time.

Kinda depends on what the SW sells


But tons of steel, then tons more. And at much lower CPU then you could sell the same stuff for to others

Well when you consider there are a few things we make in mass qty that can compete with you can count out boosters, capacitors and some others.


Chassis, weapons, armor and missles/counter-measure tend to be hotter items so


Steel OQ-CON or OR-MAL-UT-HR or OQ-UT (or something close, we use it all the time)


Radio PE-OQ


there are a ton of specific resources too feromonic silastic ore, carbonite ore, Petro(whatever) ALu, gravitronic fiberplast and on and on.



The thing to remember is that SW gennerally use more resources and can sell at less profit then other crafters. So I applaude you if you want to help out SW on your server

For all things that affect MASS (allowance) oq, ut, sr, Malleability

For all things that affect Hitpoints / quality - oq, ut, sr, hr

For all things that would be an active component - con, oq, ut


Better yet, we can ignore CR lol....


We need some of all of that, the steel I need for missiles only needs good OQ, the rest is irrelevant. I detest using 'decent' hull steel fora pack of missiles.

But the steel is the key, we need oq, ut, sr, hr, and mall all as high as possible for decent ship hulls -- the steel comprises almost half of the hull, and at master level people want it all.


WE ALSO NEED RESOURCES AT 5 CPU.

If we need to buy at 10 cpu, we simply can't make money. Period. I finally found some decent materials and the damn vendor wanted 30 cpu... if I tried to charge 30 cpu for something I make I'dget laughed right out of the game....

Wow, thanks for all the info there. And, I do try to keep all my resources at 5 CPU and below, except for Doc stuff, they too rich. I'm putting this under favorites, thanks!

I would sugest you keep it under 3 CPU. Everything else will be too high for the usage of chassis.
