Hi im looking for a ship that a novice imperial pilot can use, but crafted with speed as top priority.

my tie fighter right now has 50 speed .

what you are thinking of is an engine. The way ship chasis works is that. if you take the tie fighter for example all of them have the speed and turning ratings, the things that a shipwright can determine by using good resources or experimenting are the mass and hitpoints. you should look for an engine, not a new chasis

You rbest bet is to try and find a Looted lvl 2 engine, they are still dropping with top speeds over around 75-78 and once RE'd can hit 79-80
