is it worth crafting an engine over 103 in speed ?
I'm cranking these things out but want to know is it worth it ? Is there a speed cap on the ships?

sure its worth it, if people are buying them, but i would rather experiment on the turning stats to make a better all-around engine

There is no apparent speed limit for ship frames, but I would agree that yaw/pitch/roll are more important stats.

pitch/yaw/roll yea they all fine and dandy but it seems that the 103 speed player made engines are superb for multi passanger ships.
MP ships need no P/Y/R they fly straight and level as to give the gunners a good shot,if a pilot of a MP ship was rolling all over the place the gunners wouldnt be able to hit the broad side of a star destroyer.
Also 103 with overcharge engine 4 is great since its a player made engine there are no worries about decay when it burns up,make or buy a new one.
I dont make many maybe 10 at a time to put on my vendor but they sell fast.
Yes P/Y/R is important but on a mark 5 engine i wouldnt worry about it .

not everyone flies a MP ship. its still a state where pilots don't know all they can get or could use. the YPR is the most important for most ships. the only exceptions to the rule would be the A-wing, some of the TIE's and the MP ships where the YPR is already high or not used.
All other ship can use all the freaking YPR they could possibly get.

Truth be told, the maximum any NPC ship in this game flies is 989kph.
Assuming use of EO3 (which boosts speed and ManuStats by 30%):
A 70.0 50/50/50 speed engine would go to 91.3 = 913kph 65/65/65
71.0 = 92.3 (923kph)
72.0 = 93.6
74.0 = 96.2
75.0 = 97.5
And the post-nerf reward engine:
79.0 63.2/63.2/63.2 = 102.7 and 82.1/82.1/82.1.
Not half bad for a reward engine, and this is PRE-RE. You can find much better YPR, and after RE, 79.0 turns into 82.1 and post-EO3, that becomes 106.7.
